Pick a setup. Choose a rod and spot, then add an optional lure or bait to target catches or specimen size.
Choose a depth. Near, Middle, and Deep water favor different catches within the selected spot.
Cast and wait. Spend one cast from your bank and leave if you like. Return when the bobber dips; there is no reflex challenge.
Claim before expiry. Collect fish, ingredients, materials, treasure, or Tide Tokens before the ready catch slips away.
Use the catch. Track fish in the Almanac, ask Chef Miso to process eligible catches, and spend Tide Tokens at Old Finn's Gear.
