Sensiraptor Day. Somewhere on the scrubby paths outside Aegis and Emberhearth, something is posing.

They're fast — genuinely fast, the kind that ends a conversation — and they're clever with it. But the part worth the column inches is the signalling. Bright crest, feathered tail, a whole vocabulary of flourishes fired off before they dart away. It's communication, and it is also, unmistakably, theatre. A Sensiraptor walking to the market turns the errand into a small parade of poses.
