Six places to call home, two chances to catch the music

I've had sand in my shoes, steam on my notebook, and a very serious temptation to move into a mushroom. There are more corners of Veloris to call home, a new daily rhythm at Lanternsong Hollow, and a little more room in your trick-or-treating plans. Here's the scoop.

A neighborhood for your kind of home

My first three stops took me from the coast to the cliffs, with a hot spring along the way.

Scenic Seashore, Aegis — Sea air, winding dune paths, and a shared clubhouse by the turquoise water. If your idea of home includes a coastal breeze, start here.

Cliffside Homes, Iskerval — Cave homes tucked into mountain terraces, with glowing crystals and warm lanterns along the stone paths. Solid rock outside; plenty of possibilities inside.

Hearthspring, Emberhearth Isle — Jungle greenery, a thatched bathhouse, and a steaming hot spring at the neighborhood's heart. A snug suite here comes with a very good reason to take the scenic route home.

Then it was onto the boardwalk, and into Sylvaren's endless night.

Glasswater Moorings, Iskerval — Cozy houseboats around a sheltered cove, linked by a lantern-lit boardwalk and a floating clubhouse. For anyone who likes a waterfront view right outside the door.

Gloamwick Lane, Sylvaren — Crooked cottages, moth lanterns, and a musicians' quarter where the Hearthpines live. Somewhere down the lane, someone is probably tuning a fiddle.

Glowcap Row, Sylvaren — Snug one-room mushroom homes along a winding stone path, lit by glowing caps in the deep forest. Yes, I checked: the mushroom temptation is real.

Daily concerts, morning and evening

Lanternsong Hollow now has a featured act each day, with two live sets: 7–9 a.m. and 7–9 p.m. Eastern. One day pass covers both sets, so you can catch the early show, come back that evening, or enjoy both.

Pass holders can also shop that day's band merchandise until the concert day ends. A new day's concert needs its own pass.

Trick-or-treat again after eight hours

You can now collect one trick-or-treat bag every eight hours while the Halloween event is running. The wait starts when you collect your bag and applies across all characters on your account.

For example, collect a bag at 10 a.m. and you can collect your next one at 6 p.m. Visit a participating character when you're ready for another surprise.
