Halloween Goodie Bags: One a Day, Three Surprises Inside

Scooter Fenn here for The Drift. Ten colorful little bags have appeared around town, and I was sent to find out what’s inside. The first answer I got was: open one and see. Fair enough.

From now through October 31, visit any NPC’s profile once a day to claim a surprise Halloween goodie bag. It might be one of five classic designs—Ghastly, Witchy, Batty, Creepy or Pumpkin—or, if that NPC is stationed in one of the places below, that place’s own bag. You choose the NPC; the bag is a surprise. It’s one bag a day, wherever you visit.

Open your bag from your Inventory to see what’s inside. Expect plenty of candy, including new pet-shaped sweets, with a few special finds tucked into particular bags. Every bag has its own mix, so it pays to wander.

Follow the bags around town

A location bag can appear with NPCs stationed in that place or one of its smaller spots. These familiar faces are a good place to start:

• Aegis Lantern Walk Bag — find me at Scooter Fenn, or visit Emilio.
• Cloudloft Sunset Snack Sack — visit Liza in Cloudloft.
• Nova Reach Night Circuit Packet — try Dara-Ji, Yuki Rae or anyone aboard the S.A.S.S. Nova.
• Sylvaren Satchel — find Wren Valelight or Pip.
• Iskerval Foglight Keepsake Case — stop by June.

NPCs elsewhere offer one of the five classic bags. A fresh bag waits for you each day, and the last chance to pick one up is October 31. I’ll be keeping my notebook handy—and a little room for candy. That’s the drift. Mind the tide.
