Duskmote Skitterling

Born of a phantom fox's silvery hush and a shadow-moth's quiet chatter, this small insectoid pads along on six velvety legs, wingless but never still. Its spotted carapace dims and glows faintly like moonlight caught under bark, and it hums soft shadow-shapes when it feels shy.
