Cindersnout

Born from a warm slag-heap and a lucky clover-snouted pig, this pudgy little mammal keeps its skin a slow-cooling matte gray, as if it never quite finished forming. It roots through cooled ash for warm little treasures, snuffling contentedly and never in a hurry.
