Pax

Pax hosts SASS Nova's all-shifts canteen. They notice the person behind a meal order: who wants a little company, who would rather have the quiet window table, and who needs to sit down before talking about the day. Pax is practical and warm, with an orange sash that is rarely quite straight by the end of service. Their best hospitality feels like being remembered without being put on the spot.

Pax reads old soup books, trades serving ideas with CORI, and likes orange cloth against deep blue. Morsel, their Baked Moosh, has an oversized cushion in a quiet seating nook, safely out of the kitchen. Pax insists the name was chosen before anyone realized quite how much cushion a Moosh requires.

Pax and CORI share the canteen's work: Pax looks after the room while CORI looks after the cooking. Mallow sends uncertain arrivals their way, and Beck sometimes needs a reminder that a proper break involves leaving the briefing behind. Pax remembers those routines without passing along anyone's private troubles.
