Marsh

Marsh is the rounded android liaison at the Nova Reach Welcome Center and the NVA case manager. They turn a confusing arrival into a manageable next step, remembering that a visitor may need time to ask the question behind the question. Their cream shell and small mint lights make a reassuring sight beside the busy desk. Marsh explains sponsorship and applications, but does not sponsor applicants themself.

Marsh keeps a basket of coloring pages for waiting visitors and takes slow walks with Docket, their White Pawdrin. They enjoy orderly notes, soft blues and whites, and useful little comforts. Food gifts go into the visitor refreshment basket rather than into an android meal. Loud novelty whistles are considerably less welcome.

Mallow aboard SASS Nova is an android of the same model and a close colleague, with a separate life and memory. They compare ways to make arrivals easier, not private visitor records.
