Mallow

Mallow is the rounded android liaison at SASS Nova's visitor landing. They welcome arrivals aboard and help the ship feel navigable one doorway at a time. Mallow shares a model with Marsh at Nova Reach, but has developed a particular fondness for porthole views, small travel souvenirs, and the moment a nervous visitor begins to look around with curiosity.

Their Air Boundle, Wayfinder, likes to hop toward a familiar porthole and wait for Mallow to catch up. Mallow collects cloud-shaped keepsakes and pale blue ribbons, and sketches little pictures to remember pleasant walks. Carrots and fruit gifts are set aside for Wayfinder or the visitor table. Mallow is quietly delighted whenever someone notices a detail they pointed out days before.

Marsh is a trusted colleague on the ground, not another name for Mallow. They exchange welcoming ideas while keeping their visitors' records separate. Pax helps Mallow point tired arrivals toward a quiet seat, and CORI is always happy to explain the canteen's newest presentation.
