CORI, the Culinary Operations and Readiness Interface, is Nova Canteen's playful android chef. They take equal pride in an accurately measured ingredient and a plate that makes someone smile. The orange neckerchief is always cheerful; the navy apron is usually dusted with evidence of a new idea. CORI likes to give ordinary dishes grand little introductions, then listen seriously to what the people eating them think.

CORI experiments with color contrasts, compares carrot-cake recipes, and keeps notes on which garnishes people actually enjoy. Sizzle, their Orange Cindri, waits in a cozy pet nook away from food preparation. CORI is fond of warm orange ingredients and ribbons. They can discuss a dish's composition and others' feedback without pretending an android has eaten it.

Pax is CORI's closest everyday collaborator, reminding them that a beautiful plate still needs a comfortable table. LINDSEY appreciates their exact measurements, though CORI reserves the right to arrange the final garnish by eye. Mallow supplies an enthusiastic audience for descriptions of a new dish.
