  Whut up, I'm Rattles. I'm a transgender freelance illustrator of 9 years and a UI/UX Designer.

  Hey there, welcome to the Sensipets team! :) Off hand I don't have any suggestions on the design - I'm pretty happy with how it looks currently. I don't know if this is your field, but I do feel like some items are hard to see in dark mode (the colors are signifcantly muted on that mode).

  i think in the server i recommended allowing a toggle for muted pictures in dark mode rather than a default darkening overlay, so that people can choose if they want the colors of images affected or not. i often use dark mode in general because its easier on my eyes but i dont personally want the images affected while using it, but i think some people would super appreciate the option to toggle whether or not images have that overlay. i think separate options for darkening and desaturating images would be super cool, especially if it were possible to incorporate a slider to allow users to customize how dark or desaturated (or both!) they would like it to be

  I've noticed a ton of issues regarding Dark Mode, and I will address those with the team as soon as possible so they're more accessible for folks!

  The toggling would have to be considered by the developers, but I can definitely provide examples to the team of what you're suggesting. I'll take this into account when re-designing the dark mode experience for you guys!
