    Hey there! I’m Eek.

I’m a 22 year old who’s more or less grown up with virtual

pet games. I’m very fond of internet/browser-based pet games, but admittedly it

has been a while since I’ve last played a game like this. I saw an

advertisement for Sensipets and it immediately caught my attention – I was

looking for a browser-based pet game to relive some 2000’s nostalgia, but also

the fact that this was a brand new site intrigued me. So far I think Sensi

shows a lot of promise and I’m looking forward to what it will become!

Additionally I’ve liked the community for the site so far, which is an extra

    plus.

Outside of virtual pets, I’m currently studying in college.

I like to think of myself as an aspiring cartoonist – I like drawing and

creating silly situations or characters to entertain myself. I’m also really

into 80s/90s culture (though more the former than the latter). Cinema in

general is one of my big interests and I love discovering new movies, along

    with discussing them.

    But I ain't got a hammer / And I ain't got a pencil / And I ain't got a lasso / So I'm doing it the hard way / Like a post post-modern man

Yikes - sorry to double post - but I'm not sure what happened with the formatting here. I guess this forum system doesn't like Microsoft Word very much, lol.

    Hello Eek!!!!

My name is Lauren and I'm almost 30!!! I work in a studio making escape rooms. I have a fine arts degree and I do pet site art also.

So what is your favorite 90's cartoon(s)?

Hey guys, I'm Ella. I'm 31. I like the site so far! I'm terrible at introducing myself. My biggest hobby is snake keeping. I have 12.

Lauren, my favorite 90s cartoon was Gargoyles! What's yours?

Hey there Lauren, it's nice to meet you! Making escape rooms sounds like a fascinating career - I've never played one but I've had friends that have experienced them and really enjoyed it. Probably my all time favorite is Batman: The Animated Series, but I'm a fan of generally all the Warner Bros cartoon of that era (though I'm not very familiar with Tiny Toons, it's on my watch list though). I'm also pretty fond of the Simpsons, Eek the Cat and its spin offs (which is also my namesake) and Robocop: Alpha Commando (which isn't a very good show, but it's a massive guilty pleasure for me).

Hello @ellascales! It's nice to meet you as well! I'm terrible at introducing myself as well, so no worries there lol. Keeping snakes sounds like a really interesting hobby - I've always liked snakes, but from my reading as pets they sound too high-maintenance for me. I have to ask, do you keep them as companions or do you breed them? I recall once watching a documentary where one of the women in it was a turtle breeder and it seemed like fun to take care of the baby turtles.

Gargoyles is another one on my list! It seems like a really cool series and I definitely like the art style of it. I'd like to check that one out soon, but currently Cybersix and Phantom 2040 are my upcoming cartoon priorities.

I'm Orii, 24, and I grew up with a lot of pet sites too! I do a lot of artsy stuff, but my best/favorite is crocheting! I've made tons of stuffed animals this way and may even make some of my Sensipets into actual plushies!

I feel like I need to apologize again for my formatting in my previous post. I'm still understanding the layout of this site, lol. (If any of the coders read this post, a "reply to this comment" option would be very helpful!) Regardless, here's hoping that third time's the charm.

That's really cool @Orii! I've never had the skill for sewing or crochet, but I've always admired the craft. If you ever make some Sensipets plushies, definitely share them! :D
