This completes the series of news posts that we planned to give more context into where we came from, what we are doing, and where we are going.

We are continuing to work on how we communicate with everyone and really do appreciate all feedback.

Since we started, we found that identifying tasks by quarter ensures we do not burn out, and can set realistic expectations for ourselves. So, we wanted to share some of the things you should be expecting this quarter.

    New Merchandise

Heffrad spoke to it some earlier this week, but we are continuing to explore opportunities to allow users to take Sensipets into the real world. While you may not be able to purchase it today, we would love to hear if the merchandise is something you would be interested in, maybe in a different color, size, type!

    New Games

While we do plan on introducing education integration, that is on hold for now. So in the meantime, we have planned for a few new games this quarter. One is coming next week! The intent is to give users a fun way to earn SC and add depth into the world of Sensipets.

    Human Avatar Revamp

While the current system is good, it needs an uplift from an art perspective. Resolutions were very different in 2014, and we know how much users enjoy customization. Expect some more details on this soon; but it will include new art, interface to dress your avatar, and ability to show it off to others!

    Collectables

We have heard you. While we have collections for books and gourmet food for pets, we are looking at expanding that collection to other items your pet uses, such as plushies and toys.

    User and Pet Profile Revamp

They are a bit drab, while the update for rich-text has helped profiles, they do not offer much ability for personal expression and showing things off. Big changes are included here which we hope will surprise and delight y’all.

    Expanded Social Media Presence

We have been mostly active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; but are looking at other newer forms of social media. We want to connect with y’all and new users on platforms that y’all are on. We hope that it will give us perspective into things we should consider for Sensipets, and make it easier to communicate with us too.

    Pet Requests

This is the system that we hope to replace battling with. This is very important for us, and we do not want to give too much away just yet. We are hoping to begin releasing it in June and continue to tweak and refine it through the rest of our Open Alpha.

    Smaller Things

We continue to listen to feedback and are planning on implementing things such as a SensiClock (check!) and refine features we already released; such as Dark Mode. If you think of something that you’d like to see on the site, let us know! We listen, we promise, and we always will!

That’s what we have for Q2 of this year. Something exciting that we are ready to announce is that next week will be our first pet-themed week! Be on the lookout for an announcement on Monday!

    Until then~
