For my fluffers I've given him at least 30 grape things total. at the beginning I was doing plum and eggplant but when I done like 12 things and nothing I switched to only grape items. I use jams, gummies (laying off those now) the stix, purple mushrooms, donuts. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. If anyone Has any advice I'd love it. Thanks in advance!

i used only grape stuff too, i noticed that the plum and eggplant stuff doesn't seem to count for purple. i think i had to feed my rajeck about 20 things? it's in their bio, i'd recommend everything i fed that says grape!!! it's a safe bet

I haven't been counting the amount of food items I've given him, but it definetly feels like I've been giving him an excess number of grape-related items. There was a rumor floating around that toys reset the color change. Have you given your pet any of those?

Ah, okay. It seems like users have been having different success rates when it comes to changing their pet's appearence (regardless of color). I wrote about this previously on how I've been trying to change my pet to purple, it's gotten to the point where I'm half-wondering if purple hasn't been implemented into all of the pets. This is just a wild guess on my part, perhaps us both are just having bad luck in regards to this.
@Kallile mentioned that eggplant items helped turn one of their pets purple. It might be worth a try?
