It's a smaller pool with only rare seeds and few others that will be obtainable through other challenging mechanics. I'm sorry that this makes you uncomfortable. It's our intention to ensure all seeds are obtainable (however difficult) without paying money.
Leading on what Axo said there with their (their? I think?) packet, this is a really quick way to get folks to make poor decisions. Because we're not sure of drop rates of free seeds, seed types revealed, or drop rates of what seeds can be found in the golden packets, it makes for a dangerous platform. If the goal here is educational, I really can't say it's something you want to be teaching folks. It's a common pitfall many mobile games fall into when they begin adding money as a gamification tactic.
People these days are very wary of gacha-type features in games (I shouldn't have to talk about the Loot Box system or folk's negative reactions to Genshin Impact, which actually has a -good- balanced gacha system), and for those who aren't, often the neurodivergent, they become the victims of gambling behaviors. As a huge fan of gacha games myself for the mystery aspect, I've seen folks destroy their entire livelihoods just because something they really want is a 0.001% chance of obtaining. It'd be better to just keep golden packets a very rare drop rate from apple purchases if anything. There are better ways to profit healthily.
