So if anyone can answer this riddle, that'd be nice.

If a pet is bloated, why can it still eat?

If a pet is bloated, can it change color?

If it can't change color, because it is bloated, then why can it still eat?

I ask these things because I've just fed 6 purple items to my Serpens, on top of all of the other purple items I have acquired today which is way more than even 15-20. He hasn't changed color, he claims he's bloated, and yet, he continues to accept being fed and consumes the item he is being fed.

The only other thing I can possibly think of is that the Grape Juiceboxes, because they are not shown as a designated color (though @beanster lists them as Purple in the Food Colors guide), do not actually count as any color item right now and as such, isn't working as a purple item.

If an item doesnt list a color, it won't change the pet's color. Other examples I can think of are the Meat Kabob and rainbow foods. Not sure why Grape Juiceboxes dont have a color given they're clearly purple?

As for being bloated, I have no clue. I'm guessing hunger is stored as a number internally and the number's enough to appear bloated but not at the maximum.

They definitely used to be purple. I used them to turn Cyandral purple.

The grape juice box is different from the mixed berry juice box. Idk if maybe that's what you used? I thought the grape juice was always colorless but maybe I'm not remembering?

As for colorless items, they won't affect your pet's color but they will break a streak I believe.

I used both, but I for sure remember using the grape juice. Cyandral is the pet my wife picked the breed of and named. And when I was feeding her to make her purple, I recall joking with my wife about how much grape juice her pet was drinking because my wife doesn't like grape juice.

I also read that it was purple on Beanster's food color guide, which is why I bought and used it to begin with.

Huh, interesting. I wonder why it doesn't have a color now 🤔
