Inventory Limit

  I've been trying to "Ask For Some Soup" but i keep getting a pop up saying "Please make room in your inventory for some soup"
  I wasn't aware there was an inventory maximum? Maybe one could be added? So that we would know how many slots we have? Or at least let us know how many we need to empty? Since I've fed my pet 3 items played with 2 and vaulted 4 yet the pop up is still happening.
