Is there a way to tell if a food item is Gourmet or not, both before and after buying it? Or will I just have to see what shows up under the gourmet food tab when I feed my pets?

Apologies for the late reply to this! I don't believe there's an option to check whether or not an item is gourmet at this time currently. I've noticed often singular items (bacon, apples, ect) aren't gourmet food. My pet lives on the soup from the soup kitchen, as of now the only foods that I know are gourmet is the pumpkin soup and the sock soup.

    But I ain't got a hammer / And I ain't got a pencil / And I ain't got a lasso / So I'm doing it the hard way / Like a post post-modern man

Oh wow. Was not expecting sock soup to be gourmet. 😂

    Okay, thank you!

It took a lot of nerve and creativity to make that edible! I kind of liked it being a surprise and something for users to test out and try. What do y'all think? Would you prefer it if the food told you it was gourmet?

If the intention is to make it a fun surprise, that's cool! Although I feel like me and my friends will be keeping a list of the gourmet foods we all find, in case we want our pets to have a high class pallette.

I like the idea of foods being gourmet coming as a surprise. It kind of feels like an achievement system for the foods your pet eats, lol. If gourmet foods continue to be a mystery maybe a masterlist thread could be made featuring all of them!
