Has there been any changes made recently to the Sensipet's appetite? It used to be; that once fed, my pet's hunger would be "content" for atleast a couple weeks.

I LOVED this, because feeding my pet felt like a lot less of a chore than other games, and I'm free to explore the world without much worry or obligation. Now, however; it seems that once fed, my pet is hungry again the very next day.

Is this because of changes made to the appetite? -or do certain foods fill-up pets more than others? Thank you 🙏

UPDATE: I've been successfully feeding my pet everyday now, but I hope the problem with appetite is fixed soon! It's quite the demand 😰

Hello @bruceisded thanks for the question! When we turned it on, it does make the pets hungry every day. That is great feedback, I think I will play with the system some. Maybe the day they eat (and day after?) they will not get hungrier. What are your thoughts?

Thanks for the reply! I have some important feedback that I hope contributes to the game. Honestly, I work 2 jobs and have a series of responsibilities, so logging-on everyday (let-alone every week) seems very unrealistic. There have also been moments where ive had to feed my pet multiple times before its appetite changes for the better. I hope very-much to see a fix for such a problem, like a "self-feeder" or a type of special "protein-bar" that keeps the pet fed for a week or two? Other players (other than myself) are sure to have similar real-world responsibilities that take attention away from the game, but it doesn't mean they should be penalized for it.

The prizes and collectibles are plenty motivation for the player to keep playing, so there's no need for the constant threat against the pets survivability. If it's too difficult to care for just one pet, then it detours players from wanting to take on multiple pets, which is unfortunate ofcoarse :(

Hey @bruceisded, thanks so much for the fully explored detailed feedback. Definitely understand where you are coming from, and better understand the impact that such an aggressive hunger approach can have on user fulfillment and game play. I have it on my list this week to update and make it more fair for the pet and the player! It will take some time, but I will create a news post about it once it's done. I will also likely reset pet hunger as well! Be on the lookout for more info this week and I would really appreciate if you could help us further refine our approach 😁

Sort of revelant to this subject, I was wondering if there were any plans on adjusting the happiness levels? I haven't had any problems keeping my pet's appetite full, but I feel like he gets unhappier by each day. Personally I feel that keeping the pet happy is more frustrating their appetite because of the the soup kitchen (which gives free food) where as you have to buy toys to keep them happy and they break easily.

    But I ain't got a hammer / And I ain't got a pencil / And I ain't got a lasso / So I'm doing it the hard way / Like a post post-modern man

Absolutely - appetite and happiness were both systems quickly implemented without much nuance. I've been constructing a new approach and hoping to have more information about it either this evening or tomorrow! Please stay tuned and really appreciate this type of feedback 😀
