Halloween! Heck yeah!!
I'm really looking forward to it this year. My family and I have pretty standard plans: make jack 'o' lanterns, give out candy, ect... I don't have any costumes in mind. As much as I enjoy the holiday, I've never been into planning a elaborate costume. I'm thinking this year wearing a Halloween-themed shirt paired with a 70's mask. (One of the really strange, neon colored ones) In recent years I've began to regard Halloween as a time to watch as many movies as possible, lol. I have a few in mind, but I know I'll be watching the 1931 Dracula film and Phantom of the Paradise this year. (The latter is one of my all-time favorite films, it's been a while since I've last seen it though) My mom bought some really cool glow-in-the-dark paint and we're planning to decorate our pumpkins with those this year - every season we try something new in regards to our pumpkins. We had a lot of fun last year using basic paint pens!
I'd like to make a Halloween playlist to play on Trick or Treat night, but unfortunately Spotify doesn't have all the songs I have in mind. :( I'd also like to start a new tradition for myself where I draw all my original characters in their own Halloween costumes, lol.

I'm on my own for Halloween this year (might have a small group of friends over, but my family won't be around, and I don't want to do anything big because of COVID), so I'm trying to keep things festive but also lowkey so I can get it set up myself.
I'm going as Ash from Evil Dead since it's relatively easy to put together--I have the chainsaw, so that's the main thing. ;p For decorations I'm thinking I'll shove our plastic skeletons up in a tree so they're climbing around, and I'm going to look into no-carve options for pumpkins.
I also really want to bake some kind of cocoa cake with orange zest frosting, which could be festive. 🤔

Going to a small costume party with friends. not a huge one but it should be fun. Still need to decide what i want to go as but eh I'll think of something. couple of years ago i went as a paladin and it was great. Candy wise, Reese's will always be my fave
Before I moved to where I live now, I lived in a cul-de-sac and me and my roommate would sit on the front porch and hand out candy to the trick or treaters - it was so much fun, i miss that
I live in a lame apartment complex now, with no front porch, so it's not the same
Last year my boyfriend and I dressed up as Tiger King / Carol Baskin ... it was fun for us - my parents came over and we had dinner, we were suppose to go to a party but didn't go... lame
This year I don't have any plans yet, my health hasn't been the greatest these past few months so who knows
i've always wanted to really go 'all out' for halloween, but it's never happened
